Join Our Team as a Social Media Assistant

Work Location: Hybrid Remote in London
Type: Contract
Hourly Rate: £12/hr
Hours per Week: Minimum 4 Hours
Start Date: As Soon As Possible
End Date: 08.06.2025
Probationary Period: 3 Months

Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and post content for 

  • Identify and organise collaborative opportunities on social media in line with social media strategy and focus.

  • Monitor social media trends and audience feedback to refine strategies.

  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.

  • Analyse social media metrics to track performance and suggest improvements.

Join Our Team as a Placement Facilitator

Location:  London, United Kingdom

Hourly Rate:  £14/hr

Number of hours per week: 6 Hours

End Date: 23.03.2025

Probationary Period: 3 months

Job Summary

 

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Placement Facilitator to support our socialisation placements at Scientifically Speaking. The Facilitator will be responsible for guiding undergraduate placement students through their 5-week placements, ensuring that activities are aligned with program objectives, and providing ongoing mentorship and support.

 

  Key Responsibilities  

 

  • Oversee and facilitate weekly placement activities and ensure they are conducted effectively.

  • Provide guidance and support to students, helping them to achieve the learning objectives.

  • Manage logistics and coordination of placement activities.

  • Facilitate group discussions, team-building activities, and reflection sessions.

  • Ensure students engage effectively with the public and represent the organisation professionally.

  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.

  • Assist in the development of project materials and resources.

  • Conduct assessment and evaluation of student performance.

  • Maintain regular communication with the teaching fellow and program coordinators.
